I ordered three of the 9025 ultralight model. It's very smooth, very light and great looking! I haven't fished with it yet but I expect these reels to be excellent performers. Can't wait for ice out!

I live in Darwin NT and am presently in Arnhem land..I bought the 9030 as a small lightweight to do some sportfishing..you can pop lures all day and not be exhausted!!Very smooth and a pleasure to use, but I was caught out with the spare reel that came with it..had a big queenee on the run and over cranked the clutch which collapsed the clutch pads and froze the reel and broke the 15lb braid..I checked both reels ..the origonal has h\duty carbon fibre washers..the spare has smaller white cloth type. I will approach pflueger on this inconsistancy,but hey guys I've just ordered the 9040xt.l\weight & GREAT!! I feel some big fish coming on..so much better to reel in travellies than my top notch baitcaster..get one and enjoy!!
